Correspondent:

   Aluru Sambasiva Reddy, the Founder Secretary of SRIT, is the youngest son to Sri. Aluru Sunki Reddy and Late Smt. Aluru Narayanamma with six brothers and two sisters in an ordinary middle class family in East Narasapuram, a village in Singanamala Mandal of Anantapuramu District. Samba, as his parents fondly called him say that he was a very enthusiastic kid, always interested in learning new things. Though his parents were uneducated, his mother observed her son’s interest in studies and encouraged him to study. So he did his schooling in the local Govt. High School. With the support from all his family members, he joined Intermediate in SSN Junior College, Ongole. He always dreamt of pursuing Engineering at the University campus. With that goal in mind, he studied hard and obtained a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious University JNTUCE Anantapuramu in the year 2000. He also completed his M.Tech In Refrigeration and Air Conditioning from the same institution in 2004.

NAAC ACCREDIATION:

Accredited by NAAC with "A" grade. 

LIBRARY :

The library consists the collection of 50,733 Volumes, 100+ National & International Journals/Magazines as on August, 2017.Digital library constitutes 12 computer systems in order to access E-journals, E-books and E-learning and so on.

HOSTELS:

The Hostels of SRIT are managed by a committee consists of 5 members. The Committee headed by Dr. K. V. Subba Reddy, Principal and the committee members are Mr V. Srinivasa Reddy, Chief Advisor, Mr A V Dhanunjaya Reddy, Asst. Professor, Mr Thomas Reddy and Mr R P Rammohan Reddy. Hostel was started in the year 2008 to provide accommodation to the students. The hostel has grown from its inception. A students committee would be formed every year for the mess and grievance reddressal.
